Easy to assemble and starts first pull every time. Its very powerful and picks up the grass even when wet, the grass bag is a good size so you spend less time emptying cuttings, all in all much better than I though after reading some or the other revues I am very impressed. I have recommended it to other friends who are looking for a push lawn mower.

Does What it says
Nice machine that could only be improved with from wheel height adjustment and a rigid grass box.

Mount field HP454
Bought with my 'Senior Discount' for about £179. Very easy to assemble and started on the first pull. Have used it three times so far and it seems quite rugged and has a large grass box. My first impressions are that this has been an excellent purchase. I reserved it online for collection from the Bridgend store and it was ready for collection when I arrived.

I bought this yesterday to replace my very old (about 50!) Atco cylinder which weighs a ton and is a pig to start. The grass hadn't been cut for 6 weeks during our holiday so you can imagine what it was like! This mower cut it with ease! I expected the engine to slow down...

I bought this yesterday to replace my very old (about 50!) Atco cylinder which weighs a ton and is a pig to start. Built it from the box in about 15 minutes, filled with oil and petrol and away it went on the second pull. It's really quiet! The grass hadn't been cut for 6 weeks during our holiday so you can imagine what it was like! This mower cut it with ease! I expected the engine to slow down a bit when cutting that depth but no, it was a dream! Only trouble here is that the engine stops as soon as you let go which is a pain when you have to empty the bag. A spring clamp sorted that, just don't put your hand in the outlet! I suppose it's good practice to stop the machine so fair play! Make sure you remove the large yellow plastic thing in the outlet before you start or the cut grass will go everywhere but the collection bag! I believe that was the mulching device but it's not that clear in the instructions. The intrsuctions could be clearer but they are good enough. I went for this model as it's a steel body rather than plastic and as it is light and easy to push I didn't go for the self propelled one. All in all so far a great mower, let's hope it lasts half as long as the old Atco!
